Toy or Tool?

My son Daniel is really into the computer these days . . . when it comes to surfing his favourite LEGO website for videos of LEGO action figures or TVOntario kids’ video games. For my son, the computer is still just a toy.As Daniel learns to type and becomes more familiar with using the computer in his school environment, he will come to realize its much greater potential for helping him to overcome his learning disabilities.

The Internet and ministry is a lot like that right now for students. Most students today feel very at home using high tech devices and surfing on the Internet. Even though they may be constantly in touch with their friends through the Internet, most Christian students have not thought about its full potential to help them reach their peers for Christ. . .
